The Music Run is a 5KM running series with speakers lining the entire ‘Sound Track’ run course, culminating in the world’s best finish line festival.
It’s an energising and fun event that brings young people together, irrespective of gender and race, for a one-of-a-kind safe, clean, alcohol-free and healthy experience.
Launched in 2014 in Malaysia, The Music Run’s global mission is to inspire people to Live The Beat and lead more active lifestyles. To date, it has been experienced by over 350,000 runners across 46 events in 13 countries.

Yes, children are welcome. Please note the following:
- Event tickets for Children under the age of 6 (six) years are FREE.
- Children under the age of 6 (six) years will be provided with a bib for identification at Run Pack Collection (RPC).
- Please bring your child with you to RPC for age verification purposes. The Organiser reserves the right to request proof of age.
- Children under the age of 6 (six) years do NOT receive a Run Pack.
- All children must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times during the Event. Accompanying parents or guardians must have purchased an Event Ticket for themselves.
- Children over the age of 6 (six) years are required to purchase an Event Ticket and will receive a Run Pack.
No, The Music Run is a fun run (and party), so there is no timing on the run. Take your time and enjoy the music with your friends on the route!
The ‘Sound Track’ run course is lined with speakers so you can run to the rhythm of the beat from start to finish. It’s an immersive running experience like no other! The Official Race Day Playlist will be shared on our website, instagram and Facebook page in the build up to the event.
The entertainment schedule will be announced closer to the event. Expect plenty of music inspired performances and activities throughout the day, including live acts on the Main Stage. Stay tuned to our website and social media channels for updates.
Yes! We welcome corporate teams and can arrange a bulk order of tickets. Please email [email protected] for more information. The minimum order quantity is 20 (twenty).
Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable.
Tickets will go on sale in January 2026. Stay tuned for updates, and make sure to register your interest and follow us on social media so you don’t miss the announcement.
Run Pack Collection is where you collect your participant entitlements, including your Official Event T-Shirt, Drawstring Bag, Finisher Medal, Foam Glow Stick and Temporary Tattoo.
Run Pack Collection will take place one week before the event at Menara AFFIN, TRX. Exact dates and timings will be announced in 2026.
All Run Pack Collection details will be shared via our website, email updates and social media. Stay tuned.
A friend or family member can collect your Run Pack on your behalf by presenting a copy of your Registration Confirmation and your ID details.
You can also opt for Run Pack delivery at the time of ticket purchase.
We encourage all participants to travel to the event in the most environmentally-friendly manner possible. The nearest LRT station to the venue is Bukit Jalil LRT Station (SP17).
Plenty of car parking is also available at the event venue. If you are driving, please consider car-sharing.
The Music Run is a rain or shine event but if extreme weather does occur, the event will be postponed until it is safe to continue. Please follow instructions provided by the Race Officials.
Your event bib is your access to the event. Without an event bib, you will not be allowed to enter the venue.
We’re sorry, but for everyone’s safety, bikes and rollerblades aren’t permitted at The Music Run. Thanks for your understanding!
A water station will be available on the Run course and at the Finish Line.
Plenty of Food & Beverage options are available for purchase within the Music village throughout the event.

Please note that The Music Run operates a strict no-alcohol policy. Any persons found with alcohol will be removed from the venue by security staff.
